Many people enjoy searching for, obtaining, and displaying various items they have collected throughout the years. These items are not necessarily valuable in themselves but can include various types of knick knacks and mundane items. You will see, however, that for nearly every old album, book, trading card, Pepsi bottle, or even videotape of Coca-Cola commercials, there will be a niche to be found in the collectibles market.

Collections can consist of a wide variety of types of items. Some are of simple things such as trading cards, lighters, or DVDs, while others can include strange and bizarre items such as shrunken heads or real human bones. Some people increase their collections through making purchases that can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars, and others collect items that they may come across during their day or are given to them by others.
